The Ethiopian Birr is the official currency of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The currency is represented by the symbol Br and by the ISO code ETB. The Birr is subdivided into 100 Santim and the banknotes and coins are issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia.
