ExTravelMoney & Partnered Vendors Fees, Charges, Cancellation & Refund Policy

ExTravelMoney’s Fees & Charges

Rate Lock Fee - We, ExTravelMoney Technosol Pvt Ltd will collect a fully refundable rate-lock fee through our own payment gateway. This fee is charged to lock the exchange rates of travel money transactions, which are subject to market fluctuations. The rate-lock fee ranges from Rs. 100 to Rs. 5,000 per order, depending on the order volume. We will bear the payment gateway fee for paying the rate lock fee.

Booking Fee - We, Extravelmoney Technosol Pvt Ltd will take a booking fee through our payment gateway to facilitate the services. This fee is charged to cover the administrative and processing costs incurred by ExTravelMoney in facilitating the order booking. The amount varies from Rs. 50 to Rs. 500, depending on the travel money transaction and the volume we serve. We will bear the payment gateway fee for paying the Booking fee.

Cancellation Charge - A cancellation charge may be applied under certain circumstances when a rate-locked order is cancelled. This charge is collected by the vendors and deducted from the rate-lock fee and covers the administrative costs incurred by our partnered vendors. The specific scenarios in which a cancellation charge is applicable are outlined in the refund policy.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy on Rate Lock Fee: (Refund within maximum 5 working days)

Transaction Completed Successfully - The rate lock fee is fully refundable only after the successful completion of the transaction with the vendor. A transaction is deemed to be successfully completed if;

(i) The full payment to the vendor has been made and the travel money collected within the mentioned time provided in the estimate shared by us on your registered email.

(ii) The KYC (Know Your Customer) documents provided by you are verified and found to be in order without any issues.

Transaction Cancelled:

(i) Transaction Cancelled Due To Late Payment - A rate-locked order may be cancelled if the full payment to the vendor is not completed within the specified time mentioned in the estimate sent by ExTravelMoney through email. In such cases, a cancellation fee will be deducted from the rate lock fee collected. The remaining balance (if any) will be refunded to you by ExTravelMoney.

(ii) Transaction Cancelled By Customer - If you cancel a rate-locked order, the rate-lock fee will be either refunded to you in partial by ExTravelMoney or forfeited completely depending upon the loss incurred by our partnered vendor due to withholding the travel money product.

(iii) Transaction Cancelled By Vendor - If the vendor cancels the transaction due to issues such as KYC document verification failures or the customer’s non-compliance with applicable laws, a cancellation charge will be levied and the rate lock fee will be refunded by ExTravelMoney after deducting the applicable cancellation charge.

(iv) Transaction Cancelled Due To Non-Availability of Chosen Travel Money Product - A rate-locked order may be cancelled if the chosen travel money product is not available at the selected vendor branch. In such cases, the rate lock fee will be fully refunded by ExTravelMoney.

(v) Transaction Cancelled Due To Non-Serviceable Area (Door Delivery/Pickup) - If you have opted for door delivery or door pickup of travel money/KYC documents and the location is beyond the serviceable distance of the vendor, the vendor may refuse to serve the order. In such cases, the rate lock fee, if paid, will be fully refunded by ExTravelMoney.

(vi) Transaction Cancelled Due To Non-Collection of Order - If you fail to collect your order from the vendor location within 24 hours of the collection time and have not cancelled your order, your order will be marked as non-collected. A cancellation fee will be charged from the rate-lock fee collected by us. The remaining balance (if any) from the rate-lock fee will be refunded to you by ExTravelMoney.

(vii) Transaction Cancelled Due To Natural Disaster - If a rate-locked order is cancelled due to a natural disaster, the rate-lock fee will be fully refunded by ExTravelMoney.

Refund Policy on Booking Fee: (Refund within maximum 5 working days)

Transaction Completed Successfully - The booking fee is charged to cover the administrative and processing costs incurred by ExTravelMoney in facilitating the order and won’t be refunded in the case of a successful transaction completion. A transaction is deemed to be successfully completed if;

(i) The full payment to the vendor has been made and the travel money collected within the mentioned time provided in the estimate shared by us on your registered email.

(ii) The KYC (Know Your Customer) documents provided by you are verified and found to be in order without any issues.

Transaction Cancelled:

(i) Transaction Cancelled By Customer Before Order Confirmation - If the cancellation is initiated by you before the order confirmation, then the booking fee will be fully refunded to you by ExTravelMoney.

(ii) Transaction Cancelled By Customer After Order Confirmation - If the cancellation is initiated by you, and that too after the order confirmation, then the booking fee will not be refunded.

(iii) Transaction Cancelled By Vendor Due To Compliance Issues - If the vendor cancels the order due to issues from the customer’s side such as verification failures, non-compliance with applicable laws, or incorrect KYC documents, then the booking fee will not be refunded.

(iv) Transaction Cancelled By Vendor Due To Non-Availability of Chosen Travel Money Product - If the vendor cancels the order due to the non-availability of the chosen Travel Money product, the full booking fee paid will be refunded to you by ExTravelMoney.

(v) Transaction Cancelled Due To Non-Serviceable Area (Door Delivery/Pickup) - If you have opted for door delivery or door pickup of travel money/KYC documents and the location is beyond the serviceable distance of the vendor, and the vendor refuses to serve the order, the full booking fee paid will be refunded to you by ExTravelMoney.

(vi) Transaction Cancelled Due To Natural Disaster - If an order is cancelled due to a natural disaster, the full booking fee paid will be refunded to you by ExTravelMoney.

Our Partnered Vendor’s Fees & Charges

Order Amount - This is the amount to be paid for the chosen travel money product as indicated in the estimate shared with the customer in their email. This amount is directly collected by the vendor, from the customer, through their own payment gateway or Bank RTGS/NEFT.

GST - GST (Goods and Services Tax) shall be applicable on the travel money order as per the prevalent taxation laws of India. The applicable GST rate will be added to the order amount and will be collected by the vendor.

ExTravelMoney Technosol Pvt Ltd shall not be responsible for any payment issues arising from payments made by the customer directly to our partnering authorized vendors.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy on Order Amount (inclusive of GST): (Refund within 3 to 7 working days)

Transaction Cancelled:

(i) Transaction Cancelled By Customer - If you cancel the order, the full order amount (including GST) will be refunded by the vendor branch where the travel money order has been placed.

(ii) Transaction Cancelled By Vendor - If the vendor cancels the order due to issues such as verification failures, non-compliance with applicable laws, or non-availability of the chosen travel money product, the full order amount (including GST) will be refunded by the vendor.

(iii) Transaction Cancelled Due To Non-Availability of Chosen Travel Money Product - If the chosen travel money product is not available at the selected vendor branch, the full order amount (including GST) will be refunded by the vendor.

(iv) Transaction Cancelled Due To Non-Collection of Order - If you fail to collect your order from the vendor location within the specified time and have not cancelled your order, your order will be marked as non-collected and cancelled by the vendor. The full order amount (including GST) will be refunded by the vendor.

(v) Transaction Cancelled Due To Natural Disaster - If a transaction is cancelled due to a natural disaster, the full order amount (including GST) will be refunded by the vendor.

The refund payments on cancelling the order will be processed directly by the vendors. ExTravelMoney Technosol Pvt Ltd shall not be responsible for any delays or issues in refunds processed by our partnered vendors.

Please Note: A cancellation fee may be applicable on order cancellations depending on the specific circumstances. This fee will be collected by the vendor from the rate lock fee paid, as outlined in the refund policy for the rate lock fee.
