What is the Visa Processing Time Required?
The time required from visa application to visa issuance is just 5 working days from the day following the date of receipt of the application.

What are the Steps to Apply for Japan E-visa?
After arranging the necessary documents you can move on to the application process which is simple and convenient.
- Create an account in the official online portal of Japan e-visa.
- Now, click the “new registration” button on the home or visa application list pages.
- Fill out the online form and upload the required documents carefully.
- You might be called to the nearest Japanese overseas establishment for an in-person interview based on your uploaded information. So be prepared to be your best.
- After the examination procedure by the embassy, you shall receive a mail intimation for fee payment if you have passed.
- Pay the visa fee by credit card online or direct cash to a Japanese overseas establishment in Indian rupees.
- Soon after receiving the confirmation mail, get your visa issuance notice from the Japan e-visa website.
How to Display the Japan Visa Issuance Notice at the Airport?
Now that you have your golden pass to Japan, you must show the “Visa issuance notice” on a mobile device at the airport. PDF format is only acceptable and photo, screenshot, or printed copy is not accepted. Therefore, internet access is needed to complete a few steps.
1. Login with your registered email address and password. 
2. Click “Visa application list” or click “Page for displaying visa issuance notice” 
3. Select the required applicants from the list. 
4. Tap the “Visa issuance notice (to display)” option. 
5. Display the “Visa issuance notice” with the timer on the top-right corner of the screen.
