The Income Tax Department under the government of India has given the right to accept online PAN card applications to;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The application process in both UTIITSL and Protean follows the same steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Visit the Protean PAN Services webpage<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    On the left-hand side of the page, click the \u2018Online PAN Services\u2019 drop-down box and select the ‘Apply for PAN Online’ option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Next, in the \u2018AO code\u2019 section, enter your area code, AO type, range code, and AO number. (If you are unaware of your AO code, you shall be provided help within the form.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    AO refers to \"Assessing Office\". It is to identify the relevant tax jurisdiction of a person.
